One of Metro Girl's specialties is
fixing existing web site and maintaining them.
Do any of these situations sound familiar?
- Your web site hasn't been updated in a couple of years and
all the information is wrong.
- The person who did computer work for you and used to maintain
your web site is gone, so your site is rarely updated.
- The company who did your web site closed down or has upped
their rates.
- You hate how your web site looks and want a change.
- You'd like to add some cool features onto your web site (online
bulletin board, photo gallery, etc.) without having to go to
a big web company.
These are all common problems and if you have one of them (or
several of them!), then Metro Girl can help you out!
The work Metro Girl does is a lot of times similar to that of
a decorator, called in to re-do a room or whole house, only with
web sites.
Web Site Fixes
Metro Girl works with clients to find out what their "dream"
web site is and then works with their existing one to turn it
into the dream.
Sometimes a site only needs some "tweaks," while
other times a whole site gets re-done.
Metro Girl can also add in a lot of nice features to web sites
that might be missing, like forms for sending email or online
bulletin boards.
Pricing for web site redesigns and feature add-ons is
done at a flat project fee, while any smaller changes are charged
at an hourly rate.
Web Site Maintenance
For site maintenance, contract Metro Girl to take care of updates
-- adding pictures, news item, new products, or anything else
that comes up and you'd like to add. Usually all a client has
to do is send an email with the new information or pictures
and the work is completed within a couple of days.
Pricing on maintenance work is set up with two payment
options:
- Payment based on an hourly rate, with half-hour work minimum.
- Monthly "maintenance" fee for "up to"
a certain amount of work time per month (as estimated based
on amount client expects to need to update).
