Storm began her career as a writer with the breath-taking Wraeththu trilogy, the tale of a post-human race of androgyne hermaphrodites coming to terms with themselves and their new world.

The Wraeththu trilogy was published between 1987/1989 and since then Storm has given us the Grigori and Magravandias trilogies along with numerous other novels and two non-fiction books. She is currently working on a new Wraeththu novel.

Described as "a myth-making Gothic queen, whose lush tales are compulsive reading", Storm's writing has been called "dark, sensual and mysterious", "weird and original", "exotic, erotic" and "high Gothic fantasy at its best".

If your taste in reading leans towards "enigmatic races with supernatural powers, and dark tales of science, sex, and magick", and you haven't yet read any of Storm's writing, do yourself a favour and beg, borrow or steal one of her books. Once you've read one, you'll want to read the rest. I really can't recommend Storm's work highly enough.
